Peace to my friend and inspiration Michael Ward who died at 2AM this July 19th, 2011 from liver cancer and complications due to a protracted battle with HIV.
He joins, as Longfellow puts it, the lovely stars in the infinite meadows of heaven, the forget-me-nots of angels.
One of my first directors. One of my longest friendships. One amazing guy, who beat all the odds, and overcame incredible hurdles to fully embrace life with grace, dignity, a sardonic wit and a big bear of a heart.
We will all miss you, sweet darling... Thanks do not suffice for your tireless belief in me. Love and light and peace.
